Donate to the PVA Program

The teachers and staff truly make the PVA program shine – and they do so with sometimes limited resources. We can help remove a few of those limitations, if we work together.

Volunteering and fundraising are responsibilities we all share – as the CPVAFoundation, we do our best to be mindful of the demands on your time and resources and limit the number of requests we make on behalf of the program – this appeal is the only time you’ll be asked to contribute directly.

Each year, the staff puts together a list of items that would benefit the students in the PVA program. The costs for these items are beyond the scope of the school’s budget – with about 450 students in the PVA program, though, a contribution from each of us can make them a reality.

Why this direct appeal?

  • 100% will be directed to the PVA program, rather than a percentage that is typical of many efforts
  • Tax receipts are available for any contribution over $25
  • Contributions may be eligible for your employer-matching program

Where will the funds go?

All of the funds go directly to the students to make their experience in the PVA Program that much better! Some examples;

  • LED lights for the Theatre
  • Industrial sewing machine for PVA Fashion
  • Modernization of the Visual Arts Studios
  • Grade 12 NYC trip bursaries

How can I contribute?

If each PVA Family contributes just $50, students in every discipline (and the whole school) would be able to reap the rewards that all of these items would add to the programs. If you are in a position to contribute more, we encourage you to do so, and to share this request with family, friends, corporations and organizations that recognize the importance of supporting the arts in education. Perhaps your employer has a program to match your donation or a community investment program – please let us know if this is the case!
